Lady Faye is powered by twin 300 hp GM Diesels. She has all the latest electronics. Capt. Bobby Ballou Jr. designed the 57 foot Lady Faye in 1986. She was built by local boat builder Alex Willis, in Harkers Island. |

Captain Bobby Ballou Sr. started running boats when he was 14 years old. His father, Capt. Carroll Ballou (pictured on left) owned a fleet of shrimp trawlers. Capt. Bobby Ballou Sr. captained one of his father's shrimp boat fleet until he was 19 years old. Bobby Ballou Sr. then bought his own boat and named it "Lil Bob" after his son Bobby. Capt. Bobby Ballou Sr. ran Lil Bob out of the Morehead City charter fishing docks for 30 years. The Lil Bob is still operating in the Morehead City, Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle waters under the name Stacy VII, part of the Stacy fleet on Atlantic Beach. Lady Faye is now owned and captained by Capt. Bobby Ballou Jr. Come on down and go fishing with the legacy. |
